Craig Ferguson and his family are heavily involved in community sport in the Mount Macedon region.

Craig has been coaching junior netball and cricket for several years and is the president of both the Macedon Junior Netball Club and Macedon Ranges Netball Association. 

The focus of the Macedon Cats is to “successfully” deliver netball to the local community, with “success” defined as on the court providing pathways for broad player participation, fitness development, finals participation at eligible levels and representative activity. Off the court the Cats fund success in “fun” activities, friendship, responsibility and leadership positions. 

The aim of the MRNA Representative program is to foster and promote excellence in netball by increasing the skill level and development of the region's top players. The Representative program also seeks to provide opportunities for these players to enter the Netball Victoria elite athlete pathways.
